Williamson Earns All-NAIA Honors

SIOUX?CITY – A former Emmetsburg prep standout continues to earn honors and accolades at the conclusion of a National Championship season.

Brittany Williamson was one of seven Morningside College scholar-atheltes to earn All NAIA?Scholar-Athlete Honors for the 2008-09 basektball season.

Williamson, the daughter of Roger and Lori Williamson of Ruthven, was a key member of the Morningside Womens’ Basketball team that captured the NAIA?Division II?National Championship last month in Sioux City.

Williamson, a 6′ junior, earned a 3.73 cumulative grade point average as she majors in chemistry and biology.

In order to qualify for the Daktronics NAIA?Scholar-Athlete honors, a student must be at least a junior and possess a minimum of a 3.50 grade point average.
