YEAH! IT'S ON TO STATE! Emmetsburg Winter Swim Team has 16 qualifiers for the State Swim Meet. Swimmers will be in Marshalltown Saturday and Sunday, participating in 26 events. Emmetsburg Winter Swim Team will swim in the State Swim Meet in Marshalltown this weekend. Sixteen swimmers qualified at the Sectional Championships in February. Emmetsburg Penguins will swim in 26 different events, according to swim team coach Deena Fries.

The state meet will be held at the Marshalltown Community YMCA. A Parade of Athletes will preceed the meet. The girls swim on Saturday, March 7, beginning at 10:30 a.m., and the boys swim on Sunday, March 8, beginning at 10:20 a.m.
