SAQ?Program To Begin Soon
The annual SAQ (Speed, agility, and quickness) workouts will be offered from Feb. 23rd to April 29th at Emmetsburg HIgh School. These 20 workouts will be designed to help all athletes of all levels improve themselves for their future seasons in all sports.
The workouts will include a warm-up which will involved speed development work as well as proper running mechanics. The second phase of each workout consists of six stations each headed by a coach. Stations will range from improving agility and quickness to explosive plyometric work and will vary throughout the sessions.
The coaches at Emmetsburg believe these workouts can be very beneficial in helping athletes of all levels improve themselves and can participate during a season or out of season.
Workouts will be Monday and Wednesday at 6:30am.
