Knights Hunt Down Wolves In Win
LAKE PARK – After suffering their first loss of the season a week earlier, the Knights of Graettinger/Terril walloped the Harris-Lake Park Wolves by a 48-7 score Friday night. The win improves the Knights to 1-1 in district play and 3-1 on the year.
The Knights would roll up 410 yards on the ground in the victory, using 42 rushing plays to do so. Quarterback Cody Dyhrkopp added three of six passes for 39 yards with one pick to give Graettinger/Terril a total offensive showing of 449 yards in the win.
Jake Hoffman would lead the charge with 12 carries for 103 yards and a touchdown, while Drew Skattebo scored two touchdowns and rand 95 yards on 15 attempts. Dyhrkopp added a touchdown and ran 92 yards in eight carries, while throwing one 19 yard TD pass to Beau Craig. Eric Hatland added 69 yards and a touchdown on three rushes and Jeremiah Andrews came up with 44 yards off three carries with a touchdown.
James Tatman had a 20 yard reception and Kass Schany made a nine yard catch.
Graettinger/Terril will try to continue their winning ways this Friday night when they travel to Twin River Valley to take on the Thunder in Eight-man District two action.
