Northwest Iowa Football Camp Dates

Even though the calendar is still in mid-July, the time for the annual Northwest Iowa Football Camps is right around the corner. The annual signal of the Fall sports seasons will take to the turf once again at Emmetsburg High School August 4-7.

Once again, the camp will be offered in two sessions, a Middle School Camp for students entering grades six through eight, and the High School Camp for players entering grades nine through 12 this coming school year.

The purpose of the camp is to develop the basic techniques needed for athletes to be successful on the football field.

The Northwest Iowa Middle School and High School camps will stress fundamentals for offensive positions including the offensive line, backfield and receivers, as well as the defensive linemen, defensive secondary, ends and linebackers, along with the the kicking game.

The Northwest Iowa Football Camp will be under the direction of Emmetsburg High School Head Football Coach Mike Dunlap and Assistant Coaches Joe Carter, Dave Fog, Tyler Beving and Bruce Nelson, along with several former area players will return from the college ranks to assist during the daily camp.

The Middle School camp will run from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.each day, August 4-7.

The High School age camp will run from 6 to 8:30 p.m. each evening, August 4-7..
