Fishing Seminar Next Thursday

With the calendar heralding the official start of Spring, its time to start planning for a season of fishing. The Palo Alto County Fishing Association will help get anglers in the mood with its annual Pro Fishing Seminar on Thursday, March 27, at 7 p.m.

The event will be held at the Wild Rose Casino and Resort in Emmetsburg.

Bill Leonard, pro walleye fisherman from Estherville, will share some of his experiences, tricks and secrets on catching the elusive walleye. Leonard, who has accumulated 31 top 10 tournament finishes and 40 top 20 finishes, will answer questions on all fishing topics.

There is no admission and the seminar is open to the public.
