Lady E-Hawks Take To The Track At ELC

ESTHERVILLE - After having their first two outdoor meets cancelled, the Emmetsburg Lady E-Hawks got a chance to hit the track on Thursday with a triangular against Spencer and Estherville Lincoln Central at Estherville. No points were kept for the event.

Finishes for the Lady E-Hawks included Cierra McAllister with a second in the 1500 meter run from her 5:59.19 time and Ema Enriquez placing ninth with a time of 7:54.01.

Hadley Egland took third in the 100 hurdles with a time of :18.0, while Whitney Kibbie was fourth with a time of :18.53.

In the 800 meter run, Taylor Reimer placed fourth with a time of 2:52.36, while teammate Cierra McAllister placed fifth with a time of 2:56.17. Maura Soukup finished seventh in a time of 3:04.02 and Ema Enriquez was ninth with a time of 3:42.91.

Rachel Ruddy would earn fourth place in the 100 meter dash with a time of :14.44, while Sydney Elbert placed ninth with a time of :17.05.

In the 200 meter dash, Rachel Ruddy would place seventh with a time of :33.17 and Sydney Elbert placed 12th with a :34.95 clocking.

In relay events, Emmetsburg's Sprint Medley Relay placed second with a time of 2:14.26, while the Distance Medley Relay earned second place as well, turning in a time of 4:59.18.

The 4x100 relay claimed second place honors with a time of :56.08, while the shuttle hurdle relay placed third with a time of 1:21.17.

The varsity 4x200 relay would finish second with a time of 1:59.41, while the junior varsity 4x200 relay finished fourth in a time of 2:05.67 to round out the running events.

In field events, Rachel Ruddy would earn second place in the long jump with her leap of 13'6".

Emily Noll came away with a throw of 24'10" in the shot put for seventh place while Chelsea Strohman had a throw of 21'1.5" to finish ninth. In the discus, Britni Will had a throw of 73'9"?to place fourth while teammate Chelsea Strohman threw 46'3" to finish in seventh place.
