MSCT Appreciates Communities’ Support
Dear Emmetsburg Main Street Community Theatre Supporters,
All of us at EMSCT want to acknowledge the incredible support we received from the community during our recent fundraising drive. After reaching out for help, we were positively blown away by the generosity and assistance by so many supporters! It’s a humbling experience to know how many people we reach, how many patrons we touch, and how we are part of the big picture in the Emmetsburg community. All the donations, large and small, were received with much gratitude. We enjoyed the uniqueness of each gift, and the efforts put forward to make the most out of your donations like reselling of tickets to double the value, tip nights at local restaurants to expand the donation amount, and a promise of a service day still to come is the gift that keeps on giving!
In addition to the fundraising drive, Main Street Community Theatre applied for and received a grant from the Iowa Arts Council and Arts Midwest to participate in a seven month long training program called ArtsLab, designed to help arts related nonprofits manage their organizations efficiently and effectively. Our goal is that by participating in the program, we can make the most of your contributions and be able to continue bringing the live arts to Emmetsburg for years to come.
We invite you to continue to help EMSCT by attending some of our shows. We produce three shows per year, including one Children’s Theatre production in early summer. You can come see Sleeping Beauty the weekends of June 1st and June 8th; Fridays at 7pm, Saturdays and Sundays at 2pm.
Thank you again for your support,
(Soigned) Peggy Stolley
