Scott Ullom Memorial Service
Scott Ullom, 54, of Scottsdale, AZ, passed away on Saturday, May 6, 2017. He had a heart of gold, a big sense of humor and a bigger love of life. He was a beloved son, brother, cousin and friend.
Scott was born in Charles City, the oldest son of Charles and Ellen Ullom. He graduated from Emmetsburg High School in 1980, Iowa Lakes Community College in 1982 and the University of Iowa in 1984. He then established a successful career in banking, which included creating the standards of management development.
One of his banking students said, “I just hope you know how important you have been to my career development. You have changed my life, and I will be forever grateful. Thanks for being such a great person and mentor.”
All of Scott’s family and friends will remember his wicked sense of humor, his impeccable style, his wonderful laugh and his ability to dance the night away.
He is survived by his parents Charles and Ellen Ullom; brother Brian Ullom of Louisville, KY; four nephews: John, Max, Alexander and Zachary Scott Ullom; a cousin, Karen Ullom; numerous Swinton cousins; and many loving friends.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 20. at Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church, 801 E. Camelback Rd., Phoenix, AZ 85014.
