MALLARD — Colleen S. (Larson) Friedlander of Lehigh Acres, FL, formerly of Mallard, died Saturday,?July 6, 2013. She was 59.
Services will be held Saturday, July 13, at 10:30 a.m. at the United Methodist Church in Mallard. Burial will follow in Rush Lake Cemetery, Mallard.
Visitation will be held from 9 to 10:30 a.m. at the church, prior to services. Harris Funeral Home of Mallard is in charge of arrangements.
Colleen Larson, the daughter of Ted and Norma Larson, was born Oct. 16, 1953, in Emmetsburg. She was raised and received her education in Mallard, graduating from the Mallard High School.
She was a loving mother and grandmother, a beloved daughter, sister, aunt and wife, and a friend to many.
Colleen enjoyed craft fairs, reading, being outdoors and spending time with her family.
Most recently, she worked as a business analyst at Chico’s and previously at Kmart. She lived and raised her family in Lehigh Acres, FL, but her heart was always back home in Mallard.
Survivors include her husband, Jim, of Lehigh Acres, FL; her parents, Ted and Norma Larson of Mallard; children:?Callie of New Providence, NJ, Matthew of Lehigh Acres, FL, and Brandon of Lehigh Acres, FL; grandchildren Rylee, Matthew, Jack, Owen, Lila and Thomas; and her brothers, Rick of Branson, MO, Ron of Mallard and Mike of Orange City.
Colleen joins in heaven her brother, Mark; and her grandparents.
