Darlene Mae Glazier
GRAETTINGER — The Lord beckoned, Darlene answered.
Darlene Mae Glazier went to be with the Lord on Jan. 1, 2012, under the care of Emmetsburg Care Center.
Memorial services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Jan. 6, at Bethel Lutheran Church in Graettinger with Pastor Chris Lang officiating. The Henry-Olson Funeral Home is in charge.
Darlene was born to Ray and Olga Glazier of Graettinger. She lived a full and interesting life. She was a professional model at one time and also did secretarial work as well as help her parents serve the community as she served at Ray’s Cafe.
Her last years were spent at the Lutheran care facility as well as Emmetsburg Care Center where she was treated with dignity. Darlene loved the Lord and enjoyed singing solos and in chorus groups.
Darlene was preceded in death by her parents, Olga and Ray Glazier. She is survived by her brother, Pastor Don Glazier and family.
Thank you to friends who lovingly supported her during the last years of her life and also to both the Lutheran Care Center and the Emmetsburg Care Center for their care.
