Jeffery J. Doran

Former Emmetsburg resident Jeffrey J. Doran, 52, passed away from a short illness in Arlington, Texas on Monday, Jan. 24, 2011. He moved from Las Vegas, NV, Dec. 17 to be with his family.

Jeff was a 1977 graduate from Emmetsburg High School. He settled in Las Vegas in 1989 and worked for the Convention Teamsters Union.

There will be a family memorial burial service in Tama, IA in the Spring.

Jeff is survived by his parents, Mary Ann and John Doran; sisters, Chris Allen, Lynn Minnici and Mary Beth Doran, all of Arlington, TX and Cindy Law of Dennison, MN; his 99-year-old grandfather Walter Willett, Tama, IA; along with many aunts and uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Memorials will be sent to Cancer Research-brain cancer and Heart to Heart Hospice Service, Arlington.
