CORDELL, OK — Funeral service for Cindy Carley, 62, of Cordell, OK, is 10 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 24, at the First Baptist Church at Cordell, OK. Doyle Roark will officiate.

Burial will be in Lawnview Cemetery, Cordell, OK. Loftiss-Lee-McClure Funeral Home, Cordell, OK, is in charge.

Cindy J. Brown Carley was born Aug. 26, 1947, in Greensfield, IA, the daughter of Leo W. and Maxine (Criswell) Brown. She passed away Saturday, Sept. 19, 2009, in Ada, OK.

Cindy married David R. Carley on Sept. 15, 1984, in Lawton, OK, and they lived in Cordell, OK since August of 2000. Cindy and David attended the First Baptist Church. Cindy was passionate about her family, students, friends and life.

She held a Masters Degree in Speech Communication/Drama and worked at Southwestern Oklahoma State University in Weatherford, OK, as a communications teacher.

Cindy is survived by her loving husband, David R. Carley, of the home; two daughters, Sheila (James) Harris of Wichita Falls, TX, and Carlina (Monty)?Bobo of Colorado Springs, CO; five grandchildren, Mason, Kim, Hugh, Hannah and Landry; one sister, Becky (Mac)?Campbell of North Webster, IN; sister-in-law, Carolyn Brown of Keokuk; mother-in-law, Nadine Frazier of Cordell, OK; and a host of many other family members and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Leo and Maxine Brown; and a brother, Barry Brown.
