Beverly Banwart 1930-2009
ROGERS, AR — Beverly Ann Banwart, 72, died Tuesday, April 21, 2009, at her home in Rogers, AR.
Memorial service for Mrs. Banwart was Sunday, April 26, at Peace Lutheran Church in Rogers, AR. Pastor Dick Jebsen officiated. Inurnment was in the Rogers Mausoleum.
Beverly was born June 2, 1936, in Emmetsburg to the late Oscar and Ruth Lee.
Bev worked as a caregiver in an Adult Care Facility in Iowa before moving to Arkansas in 1984. In 2004 she retired from her home daycare business after providing loving care to numerous families. Bev was an active member of Peace Lutheran Church in Rogers, AR. Over the years, she faithfully served the Lord as a Woman of the ELCA leader, Stephen Minister and Bible study leader. Bev had the gift of hospitality and always extended a warm smile and welcome to newcomers. Bev will be remembered as a wonderful wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.
She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Kenneth Banwart, to whom she was married Dec. 27, 1957; one son and daughter-in-law, Jarrett and Margaret Banwart of Lake Villa, IL; three daughters and sons-in-law, Kathy Banwart and Randy Thompson of Spring, TX, June and Ken Burnett of Palmer Lake, CO, and Sarah and Brian Smith of Bella Vista, ?AR; seven grandchildren:?James and Logan Cooke, Kisa and Kendall Burnett, and Fisher, Carter and Lydia Smith; three sisters and two brothers.
Beverly Banwart was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers and two sisters.
