Sign Up Today For Junior Naturalist Program
RUTHVEN — It’s that time of year to get signed up for Junior Naturalists with the Palo Alto County Conservation Board!
Kids in 4th, 5th, and 6th grades will have a wonderful opportunity to enjoy a variety of activities!
The Junior Naturalists meet once a month from October through May. Activities this year will be: Waterfowl hike and ID, nature crafts, cross country skiing, snowshoeing, ice fishing, bird house building, archery, and will conclude with our annual Wings and Wetlands event.
There is a registration fee of $10 to cover the cost of a special Junior Naturalist patch upon completion of the program and materials. Checks should be made out to the Palo Alto County Conservation Foundation and can be mailed to the Lost Island Nature Center.
