Protecting And Nourishing The Land For Generations to Come
by Lisa Forberger
April 22 is recognized as Earth Day. As farmers, ranchers and foresters, you know Earth Day is every day. Nourishing your crops and helping you sustain the lifestyle you love, from sun up to sunset, you care for the land that takes care of you. You recognize to keep the land viable for generations to come, you must be responsible stewards today.
From your use of advanced precision agriculture technologies, to soil health and managed grazing practices, you are helping to ensure the land you use today will be better for agriculturalists of tomorrow.
This Earth Day, we thank our farmers, ranchers and foresters for being caretakers of the land, and ensuring the air we breathe and the water we drink is safe and clean. The Farm Service Agency is here to support you through our suite of programs, loans and services as you invest in your farm and protect your resources, so it can be productive and appreciated for years to come.
