HOW?HIGH?WILL?IT?GO? - With over 20 inches of snow in the past 10 days in the area, the west fork of the Des Moines River is rising slowly but surely and is projected to reach a stage of 10.4 feet by this coming Friday, April 27. As of Sunday noon, the river was at 8.66 feet and was gradually rising with the snowmelt.
