By Staff | Apr 26, 2016

9/11 NEVER FORGET -- Over 1,000 people experienced the 9/11 Never Forget traveling exhibit when it opened at Wild Rose Casino &?Resort, Emmetsburg, on Friday, April 22. The traveling exhibit is a tribute to all those who sacrificed on Sept. 11, 2001. The memorial provides interactive education, including artifacts, news and video recordings. New York City Firefighters Jim Kielty and Jack Kielty, FDNY heroes, led tours through the exhibit. Buses of students from area schools, some of whom were not born in 2001, were among those who experienced the terror of Sept. 11. The 9/11 Never Forget traveling exhibit was escorted into Emmetsburg Thursday, April 21, by area fire departments and motorcycle riders. The traveling exhibit was on display through Sunday, April 243, before moving to Western Iowa. More photos on page 5 of The Reporter. --Anesa McGregor photo
