By Staff | Oct 15, 2015

Palo Alto County Health System (PACHS) welcomes Physical Therapist, Todd Sunde, to the PACHS family. Todd will be working in the physical therapy department at PACHS seeing a variety of patients. He is originally from Estherville where his parents still reside. He attended University of Iowa where he earned his Physical Therapist degree. He has worked as a therapist in Florida and South Dakota before returning to Iowa to be closer to family. Todd has two daughters, Ava (age 7) and Makayla (age 12).

“I enjoy working at PACHS”, commented Todd. “We see a variety of patients and each therapist has areas of expertise that make our program such a success. Although I enjoy working with a variety of patients, I especially like working with patients recovering from a stroke or neurological issues. I like seeing the rapid improvement they make during therapy and enjoy the time I have getting to know them and their family. I spend time educating not only the patient but their family as we work towards the goals we set. I always treat my patients like I would my family, and we work together to achieve our results.”

After work, in his free time, Todd enjoys spending time with his family, gardening, cooking and canning. His specialty is his own secret recipe hot sauce. He is also a fan of NASCAR and roots for Kyle Larson, car number 42.
