Absentee Ballots Available For Upcoming City Elections

Palo Alto County Commissioner of Elections Carmen Moser has announced that Absentee ballots are now available at the Palo Alto County Auditor’s Office for persons who are disabled or are going to be absent on election day. City Elections will be conducted on Tuesday, November 3.

Eligible persons can vote at the Palo Alto County Auditor’s Office through November 2, 2015, or request an absentee ballot through the mail.

Requests by mail must be on the Official Absentee Ballot Request Form, which is available at the County Auditor’s Office.

The last date to pre-register to vote in the City Elections will be Friday, October 23, 2015.

On Election Day, Tuesday, November 3, 2015, the polls will be open from 12:00 Noon until 8:00 PM at the following locations.

City of Ayrshire: City Hall

City of Curlew: Community Center

City of Cylinder: Heritage Center

City of Graettinger: Public Library

City of Mallard: Community Center

City of Rodman: City Hall

City of Ruthven: Social Center

City of West Bend: Public Library

City of Emmetsburg: The polls will open from 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM for Wards 1, 2, 3, & 4 in the City of Emmetsburg. Voting will take place at the Election Center at 1302 Broadway in Emmetsburg.
