Palo Alto County residents turned out on Saturday morning to participate in the fourth annual “Then Feed Just One” packaging event at the Palo Alto County Fairgrounds. Over 300 volunteers of all ages came to pack foodstuffs during one-hour shifts. It would take roughly a half-hour for the volunteers to complete a pallet of 55 boxes, which equated to just over 11,000 meals on a pallet.

When the event ended at noon, the hard work of local residents resulted in the shipment of 90,504 meal packages, far surpassing the goal of 75,000 meals.
