Ayrshire Days Set For This Weekend

By Staff | Jul 21, 2015

AYRSHIRE – Ruthven has Bully Bullhead, Emmetsburg has St. Patrick’s Day and Ayrshire has Ayrshire Days. This small, close-knit community is once again celebrating this year, July 25 and 26, with something for everyone.

Saturday, July 25, come and enjoy supper at the Whole Hog Roast at the Ayrshire Community Center. Enjoy Pony Cart rides too. After supper, relax and have a good time at the street dance featuring two bands: Yell Country Rebels and the Scott Schram Band. Don’t forget lawn chairs and bug spray.

Sunday, July 26 starts off with a Pancake and Omlet Breakfast at the Ayrshire Community Center. The tractor ride kicks off at 10 a.m. Fun and socializing at the park on Silver Lake Avenue begins at 2:30 p.m. with free watermelon (provided by Mary Olson), kids water fights, games and face painting, Cow Pie Bingo, and a quilt drawing (quilt provided by the Ayrshire Quilters).

Come and join the fun and games. Reconnect with old friends and make some new friends
