Haunted House Time!

By Staff | Oct 24, 2013

GRAETTINGER?- Students in the Graettinger-Terril Middle School are in the mood – the Halloween Mood, that is.

The Graettinger-Terril 7th grade class will be holding a haunted house on Saturday, October 26th and Saturday, November 2nd. The haunted house will be open from 7:00-9:30 p.m. both nights.

The haunted house is located in the former Happy Hour location in downtown Graeetinger. There will be two rooms in the haunted house. A younger child-friendly room will be available with the lights on and many spooky things to look at and touch.

There will also be a haunted maze for older children and adults, completely in the dark with many interesting things (and creatures) along the way. Admission into the haunted house is free will donation or a never worn child size hat.

The 7th graders are donating all proceeds and hats to the Hats Off for Cancer foundation, which supplies hats to children and teens who have battled or are battling cancer. The charity has donated more than 1,500,000 hats worldwide since 1996.

The 7th grade class is doing this as a community service project in their middle school service learning class.
