Timken Names Mark A. Stangl Business Manager of Rail
CANTON, OH – The Timken Company has announced the appointment of Mark A. Stangl to business manager of rail.
Stangl joined Timken in 1997 as an automotive customer engineer in Canton. Since then, he has held positions including that of senior application engineer, principal sales engineer, product manager and regional manager. Stangl most recently served as manager of product management for the company’s automotive aftermarket business.
He earned a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology in Terre Haute, Ind., and a master’s degree in business administration from Kent State University in Kent, Ohio.
Stangl is a native of Emmetsburg. He lives in Bolivar, OH, with his family.
