Emmetsburg Retail Association Hosts Women’s Day Out

It’s spring and it’s time to go shopping in Emmetsburg! Women’s Day Out provides a fun shopping opportunity this Saturday, May 11.

Pick up a punch card at any of 13 participating businesses, then head out to the stores.

“The more places you visit, the mo re you can win,” said Laura Blanchet, one of the event co-chairs. “Don’t forget to get your card punched while you are in there.”

Special shopping events have been planned at each of the participating businesses:

A Heavenly Celebration: Stop in and enjoy a chocolate covered strawberry and a mimosa between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.

Emmetsburg Food Pride:?Free wine tasting from 1 to 3 p.m.

The Glass Shop: Drop by the new location, 1002 Lawler, Suite 1 (behind Casey’s) and enjoy “goodies” prepared by Angie.

Hardware Hank:?”Thirty-one” Bags and organizers 8 a.m. to 12 noon by Diana Parisi

Hughes Health Mart Pharmacy: Free samples of Abdallah chocolates and 25-percent off boxes of chocolates.

Mainstreet Memories Mall:?Free fresh flowers with any purchase (while they last) and a 30-percent discount on items valued at $20 to $50.

Pizza Ranch:?Stop ion and draw for special coupon offers.

Saxton’s Greenhouse and Flowers: 30-percent off one four-inch flowering annual, valued at $3.99.

Wentzel’s True Value: 25-percent off spring and summer clothing

Young’s Custom Computer’s: Visit the new location at 2205 Main (next to the theatre) and enjoy coffee and butterbraid treats.

Sol Salon: Come learn and experience how “doPerra” essential oils can be profoundly simple but life changing through aromatic, topical and internal use.

ETC: “Sculpt” skin care information. PCA?Skin Care Line presented by Jean Eichmeier PA-C and Heather Sanculi CMA from 1 to 4 p.m., plus taste testing ETC food samples.

Shoppers are invited to enjoy the shopping specials and treats throughout town. Here is how the punch card works:

Visit six stores for a chance to win “Tremendous Tote #2”

Visit all of the stores for a chance to win the grand Prize “Treasure Tote #3”

“Each tote is loaded with wonderful gifts for that special woman in your life — you!” said Laura Blanchet. “Our Grand Prize tote is filled with over $300 in gifts.”

Turn in punch cards at Emmetsburg Chamber of Commerce office, 1121 Broadway, by 4 p.m. Saturday to be eligible to win a prize tote.
