“The Grapes of Wrath” is based on the novel by John Steinbeck. The story tells of the Joad family and their flight from the dust bowl of Oklahoma in the 1930s. Desperately proud, but reduced to poverty by the loss of their farm, the Joads pile their few possessions on a battered old truck and head west for California, hoping to find work and a better life.
Show dates are Friday, Nov. 30, and Saturday, Dec. 1, with an 8 p.m. curtain; 2 p.m. matinee Sunday, Dec. 2; and the following week, Wednesday, Dec. 5 and Friday, Dec. 7, at 8 p.m. with a 2 p.m. matinee on Sunday, Dec. 9.
