Administrator Named At PACHS

Desiree Einsweiller, MHA, has been hired as the new administrator at Palo Alto County Health System (PACHS). The announcement was made this week by the Palo Alto County Hospital Board of Trustees.

Desiree will officially begin her new position on Monday, May 7. She will be in town early to attend the Emmetsburg Chamber of Commerce Coffee this Friday, May 4.

Ms. Einsweiller recently held the position of Interim Administrator/CEO of Mit-chell County Regional Health Center (MCRHC) in Osage, Iowa, and Regional Director, Mercy Clinics at Mercy Medical Center North Iowa. She began her career at Mercy North Iowa as an Administrative Fellow and has been in her current role as Regional Director, Mercy Clinics since 2008.

As Regional Director, Mercy Clinics, Desiree was accountable for the financial, quality, strategic, and operational performance of 12 primary care and specialty clinics including Internal Medicine, Derma- tology, Diabetes, Pediatrics, Occupational Medicine, and Family Practice. She was also responsible for overseeing 150 employees, 6 managers, and 34 providers.

The public is invited to meet Desiree at the Emmetsburg Chamber Coffee on Friday, May 4, 9:30 to 10:30 a.m., in the Health Education Room at Palo Alto County Hospital.
