Junior Miss Shamrock Contestants Take The Stage Sunday

The 2012 Junior Miss Shamrock Pageant is this Sunday, March 11, at the Emmetsburg High School Auditorium. The pageant begins at 3 p.m.

There are seven contestants in the Little Miss Shamrock Pageant and seven contestants in the Little Lassie Pageant. There are six contestants in the Irish Miss Pageant.

Guest performances will be presented by 2011 title holders, Little Miss Shamrock Tatum Iverson, Little Lassie Annie Brennan and Irish Miss BriAna Campbell.

The Algona Area Children’s Choir, which includes over 20 very talents voices, ages 4th through 6th grade, will be special guests performing at the pageant.

2011 Little Miss Shamrock Tatum Iverson is from Emmetsburg. Her parents are Shannon and Renee Iverson. She will sing a Vocal Solo, “I Hope You Dance.”

2011 Little Lassie is Annie Brennan of Emmetsburg. Her parents are Rick and Diane Brennan. She will sing a Vocal Solo, “Dancing in the Street.”

2011 Irish Miss is BriAna Campbell of Emmetsburg. She is the daughter of Kim Campbell. BriAna will sing a Vocal Solo, “Amen.”

Also performing will be 2011 Miss Shamrock, Chelsey Rouse

Doors to the auditorium will not open until 2:15 p.m. to allow the Children’s Choir to warm up. Admission is $5 for all ages.

Little Miss Shamrock

Macy Alderson, age 7 from Graettinger. Her parents are Joel and Trish Alderson. Her talent will be a Jazz Dance to “Rappin’ Jack Be Nimble.”

Mattie Jo Dooley, age 7 from Emmetsburg Her parents are Dan and Mindy Dooley. Mattie Jo’s talent is a Vocal Solo, “Somewhere Over the Rainbow.”

Karly Sue Hatch, age 5 of Linn Grove. Her parents: David Hatch, Cheryl and Todd Morton. Her talent is a Dance to “Party in the U.S.A.”

Jenascia Meyer, age 7 ofClare. She is the daughter of AmySue Meyer. Her talent is a Vocal Solo, “Everything I Do.”

Katie Nelson, age 7 from Emmetsburg. Her parents: Jim and Diane Nelson. Katie’s talent is a Vocal Solo, “Clancy Lowered the Boom.”

Maggie Nelson, age 8 from Emmetsburg. Her parents are Jim and Diane Nelson. Maggie’s talent is a Vocal Solo, “Who Threw the Overalls (in Mrs. Murphy’s Chowder”).

Morgan Robinson, age 8 from Spencer. Her parents are Kevin and Becky Robinson. Morgan’s talent is a Piano Solo, “Moonlight Sonet.”

Little Lassie

Lindsay Carter, age 10 from Emmetsburg. Her parents are Joe and Lisa Carter. Lindsay’s talent is a Tap Dance to “Never Fully Dressed.”

Rachel Duhn, age 12 from Emmetsburg. She is the daughter of Marsha Duhn. Her talent is a Vocal Solo, “Crazy Little Thing Called Love.”

Caitlin Fairchild, Age 10 from Linn Grove. Her parents are Dave and Kris Fairchild. Her talent is a Vocal Solo, “Beautiful.”

Ali Laubenthal, age 10 from Emmetsburg. Her parents are Al and Julie Laubenthal. Ali’s talent is a Tap Dance to “Bellhop Boogie.”

Jisela Meyer, age 10 from Clare. She is the daughter of Amy Meyer. Her talent is a Vocal Solo, “Listen To Your Heart.”

Mary Nelson, age 12 from Emmetsburg. Her parents are Jim and Diane Nelson. Mary’s talent is a Piano Solo, “The Galway Piper.”

Macy McAllister, age 9 from Emmetsburg. Her parents are Troy and Brenda McAllister. Macy’s talent is a Hip Hop Dance to “Ice Cream Freeze.”

Irish Miss

Kiersten Duhn, age 14 from Emmetsburg. She is the daughter of Marsha Duhn. Her talent is a Vocal Solo, “Born To Be Somebody.”

Autumn Ellis, age 14 from Spencer. Her parents are Lance and Cyndi Ellis. She will perform a Vocal Solo, “Whatever Happened to my Part?”

Kyleigh Kalcevic, age 14 from Graettinger. Her parents are Josh and Karin Walmer. Her talent is an Instrumental Solo, “God Bless the U.S.A.”

Elizabeth Naviaux, age 16 from Spirit Lake. She is the daughter of Dawn McCarthy. Her talent is a Dance to “I Can Only Imagine.”

Avery Ringlaben from Emmetsburg, daughter of Peter and Stacy Ringlaben. Her talent is a Vocal Solo, “Loser Like Me.”

Haley Schany, age 14 from Spencer. Her parents are Chuck and Therese Schany. Haley’s talent is a Lyrical Dance to “Remember Me.”
