West Bend-Mallard Graduation

WEST BEND – With the preceding as their class motto, the West Bend-Mallard High School Class of 2011 will participate in commencement exercises on Sunday, May 15. The ceremony begins at 2:30 p.m. in the West Bend school gymnasium.
Twenty-five members of the senior class will accept their diplomas on Sunday. Bob Burns, President of the Arizona Senate, will be the keynote speaker. Burns is a 1956 graduate of West Bend High School.
Class officers include President Mackenzie Banwart, Vice President Jake Umsted, and Secretary/Treasurer Brooke Banwart. The seniors have chosen purple and silver as their class colors, and a yellow Gerbera Daisy as their class flower. Their class song is “Who Am I” by Casting Crowns.
Senior Class Night is scheduled Wednesday, May 11, at 7 p.m. in the high school gymnasium.
