At A Record Pace

By Staff | Oct 21, 2010

The corn harvest is being completed at a record pace. Unlike last year, when area producers battled high moisture levels in the crop, the harvest this season is seeing corn coming out of the field in the 15 percent range, meaning growers are not having to spend extra money to dry the crop. With the lack of rain over the past two weeks, the harvest is rapidly coming to a close and much Fall tillage work has already been completed. -- Dan Voigt photo
