A ribbon cutting and open house were held July 29, at M & T Woodworks Retail Shop at 2205 Main St. (in the former Video Warehouse storefront).

Owners Maurice and Teresa Holdefer have been in the custom woodworking business since 2000, and opened their retail shop on June 26. The Holders can create all kinds of custom woodwork, including shelves, entertainment centers, bedroom furniture, and kitchens.

The shop also serves as a drop-off/pick-up location for Milestone Images, an Algona-based business that offers photo montage, restoration, and enhancement.
