Voters Reminded of Polling Places & Poll Hours

Voters for the June 8 Primary elections are being reminded of a deadline for the approaching election, as well as the locations of polling places throughout the county.

The last day to file a request for an absentee ballot to be mailed out is Friday, June 4, at 5 p.m. at the Palo Alto County Auditor’s Office. Voters may still vote in person at the Palo Alto County Auditor’s Office on Saturday, June 5, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and on Monday, June 7, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The polls for Primary elections will open at 7 a.m. on Tuesday, June 8 and will close at 9 p.m. at the following locations in Palo Alto County:

Booth, Emmetsburg, Great Oak, Nevada and Silver Lake Precincts – Palo Alto County Election Center, Emmetsburg

Ellington and Rush Lake Precincts – Mallard Community Center

Emmetsburg Ward 1 and Freedom Township North Precincts – Palo Alto County Election Center, Emmetsburg

Emmetsburg Ward 2 Precinct – Palo Alto County Election Center, Emmetsburg

Emmetsburg Ward 3 and Emmetsburg Township Southeast Precinct – Palo Alto County Election Center, Emmetsburg

Emmetsburg War 4 Precinct – Palo Alto County Election Center, Emmetsburg

Fairfield North, Freedom, Independence and Vernon Precincts – Palo Alto County Election Center, Emmetsburg

Fairfield Southeast, Fern Valley and West Bend Precincts – West Bend Public Library

Lost Island North and Walnut Precincts – Graettinger Public Library

Lost Island South and Highland Precincts – Ruthven Social Center
