RUTHVEN- Although the weather outside was blustery on Saturday, inside the Lost Island Prairie Wetland Nature Center, it was warm and toasty. The Nature Center had 83 attend their annual Chili and Live Music Night. The evening began with a short program on astronomy followed by a chili dinner and live music by the acoustic music group Ceolmhor.

For the first time, this year’s event featured a silent auction with items donated by area businesses. Proceeds from the auction benefitted the Nature Center’s educational programs.
