Progress In Palo Alto Co.

By Staff | Oct 23, 2008

What has been happening in Palo Alto County the past year?

The Reporter & The Democrat staff has put together Progress 2008, featuring business and industry in Palo Alto County. The 54-page edition is included in today’s issue of The Democrat.

New business ventures in towns from Ayrshire and Cylinder to Emmetsburg and West Bend are featured in this information-packed edition.

A number of businesses have reached “Milestones” of ten years, 30 years and even 80 years in business. Emmetsburg Public Library and the Palo Alto County Jail celebrated 100 years in 2008. Emmetsburg and Palo Alto County celebrated its Sesquicentennial in July. We’ve been around for a while.

There is a lot going on in Palo Alto County. Many projects were brought together with matching grant funds from Palo Alto County Gaming Development Corporation. Many other projects featured expansion of existing business and industry.

Thanks go to advertisers and the business community for helping make Progress 2008 such a great success again this year.

The Reporter & The Democrat staff wishes you good reading.
