PACHS Solicits Feedback From The Public For Planning Purposes

By Staff | Feb 26, 2008

An online survey is available on the Internet for the community to assist Palo Alto County Health System (PACHS) as they prepare to develop a new strategic plan. The survey is a part of a strategic planning process to determine goals and identify priorities for the coming years.

“The first step of our strategic planning process is to receive feedback from our staff as well as from the communities we serve,” commented Tom Lee, Administrator at Palo Alto County Health System.

Surveys for this process have been sent to PACHS’ Board of Trustees, health care providers, staff and volunteers. In addition, surveys have also been sent to business leaders, elected city and county officials, school board members and superintendents, public health and other health and social service providers, ministers, law enforcement and business representatives.

For those in the community who did not receive a survey but would like to provide input for the planning process, an online survey is located on the Palo Alto County Health System website at www.pachs.com. There is a link on the home page that will take you to the survey. This survey will be available for comments through March 5.

“We value your thoughts and perspective as we work to fulfill our mission of working together and with others to promote the well-being of people in the communities we serve by living the values of compassion, respect, excellence, and stewardship”, commented Lee.

The results of each survey are anonymous and will be presented as a summary report from the community during the strategic planning process. PACHS plans to communicate the results of the strategic plan to the community upon completion.
