Couple Married In Sioux City

Eric Flynn and Air Phachansiry of Correctionville became husband and wife at an afternoon wedding ceremony Saturday, Aug. 8, 2020, at the Sioux City Convention Center. Officiant at the ceremony was Bruce Mende from Leander, TX.

Air is the daughter of Phouth and Phonesavanh Phachansiry from South Sioux City, NE. Eric is the son of Jim and Melanie Flynn of Emmetsburg.

The bride was escorted down the aisle by her parents. She wore an ivory A-line gown with intricate bead work. Her veil matched her gown with beadwork edging. The bride assembled her own bouquet of white roses and eucalyptus, accented with baby’s breath.

Music was provided by harpist Mary Watts of Sioux City.

Matron of Honor was Jackie Cerna-Ledesma and Maid of Honor was Ivonne Chavez, both of South Sioux City, NE. Bridesmaids were Annie Phachansiry of Peotone, IL, and Rocio Zamora of South Sioux City, NE. Kerri Wood was Honorary Bridesmaid.

Ring bearer and flower girl were Nick Anderson-Flynn and Evangeline Pham.

Brett Flynn of Davenport served as Best Man. Groomsmen were Luis Lemus of Pierson, Joe Leekley of Pierson, and Ryan Flynn of Rapid City, SD. Guests were ushered by Bob Karas of Peotone, IL, Nate Sperl of Lincoln, NE.

The couple has postponed their honeymoon due to COVID-19.
