Catholic Daughters Install New Officers
WEST BEND – Court St. Frances Xavier Cabrini #1797 gathered on Thursday, June 7, for Mass celebrated by Father Thomas Hart and Installation of new officers.
New officers are: Becky Larson, Regent, Kathy Montag, Vice Regent, Autumn Wirtz, Secretary, Donna Grimm, Financial Secretary and Courtney Ruppert, Treasurer.
Ellen Streit asked the ladies to put November 2 on their calendar for The Church Women United Day at Sts. Peter and Paul. The program will be presented by Ruthven ladies. November 17 to 20 is the Five Saints Parish Mission.

New Regent Becky Larson discussed new business.
A Parish Life Committee Meeting report was given by Carol Eoriatti. The court meeting night may be changed from the first Thursday of the month to the second Thursday. If there are any concerns please contact Becky Larson before the new program booklets are printed this summer.
Parishioners are asked to return new ministry sheets and prayerfully consider helping with the church’s finances.
Autumn Wirtz told the court about a Young Adult group being formed, a time for people to gather socially and enjoy a meal together. The first one will be hosted at her home on June 18.
Kay Brown announced a Rosary for Priests will be prayer Friday, June 8, in the Grotto courtyard.
Linda Thilges’ Good of the Order was a reading on Corpus Christi Sunday – being aware of the true presence of Jesus in the Holy Eucharist.
The closing prayer service was held for the outgoing and new officers. Each received a flower and everyone sang the Blessing song.
Becky reminded us of Father Hart’s priest appreciation and farewell on Sunday, July 8. She and officers will take care of summer business and will begin the new year in September.
