Iowa Lakes Announces Presidential Scholarship Winners
Iowa Lakes Community College funds the Presidential Scholarship for students with high academic ability. Requirements are full-time enrollment and meeting two of four qualifications as shown on the Iowa Lakes website at www.iowalakes. edu.
Awards range from $2,800 – $5,250 for tuition and awards are renewable for Presidential Scholars in good standing.
Students from Emmetsburg receiving the 2017-18 Presidential Scholarships are Emily Berkland, Allison Freeman, Tyler Harson, Katherine Jackson, Sarah Pugh, Matthew Kibbie, Ty Kral, Austin Noll, Natalie Ruiz, Philkeith Sagini, Mari Schmidt, Wesley Schultes, Sarah Simington and Brent Wesley.
Graettinger residents receiving Presidential Scholarship awards included Destiny Akridge, Alex Hoffman and Jordan Thompson.
Presidential Scholarship winners from West Bend included Zachary Brown, Laura Fehr and Larae Knobloch.
Candace Cribb of Cylinder received a Presidential Scholarship and Christopher Gent of Fenton was also named the recipient of a Presidential Scholarship award.
