Local Women Complete Annie’s Project

By Staff | Mar 29, 2018

Fifteen women successfully completed the six-week Annie’s Project course that was offered in Emmetsburg. This program offered through Iowa State University Extension and Outreach in Emmet and Palo Alto counties empowers women to be better agricultural business partners and owners. In Annie’s Project women learned about risk assessments, human factors in farming, grain marketing, crop insurance, FSA and NRCS programs, farmland leasing, financial statements, estate planning, and planning for retirement. These sessions are taught by local women experts which creates a unique learning experience for the participants.
