By Staff | Mar 29, 2018

PARTICIPANTS-Participating in the conversation from left to right were Jennifer Valentine from the Laurens 4-H Club, Tammy Janssen from the Boots and Spurs 4-H Club, Zach Treiber from the Palo Alto Robo Techs 4-H Club (a.k.a. PART’s 4-H Club), L.B. Hurley from the PART’s 4-H Club, Jeri Wenell from the Laurens 4-H Club, and Anthony Smith from the Independence Booster 4-H Club.

n Thursday evening, March 22nd, three 4-H leaders from Palo Alto and three 4-H leaders from Pocahontas met at the Mallard Community Center to have a “conversa-tion”. Most of the leaders were new, with less than five years of leader experience. The purpose of the meeting was to talk about how Extension can stay relevant and how we can better meet the needs of our 4-H volunteers. We talked about many factors that affect the success of a 4-H club and its members in our constantly changing world.
