4-H Sign Painting Workshop

On Saturday morning, Jan. 27th, 10 4-Hers and seven adults came together to learn how to sign paint. Moms and Grandmas got the opportunity to paint with their sons and daughters. Diann Minion from Estherville and her sister Colleen worked with the participants to teach them about preparing the wood for their sign, cutting apart and placing the stencils, and different painting techniques. Every participant then painted their own sign. It was a fun morning learning about art principles and design.

4-H members and adults who participated in the workshop were Logan Lenz; Josey Saxton and her mom, Somer; Emma Krause and her mom, Kim; Rylie Frerk and her mom, Carrie, and her grandma Janice; Ben Hurley and his mom, Jenn; Samantha Davis; Olivia Lace and her mom, Marilee; Emmy and Chloe Schneider and their mom, Sherry, and Rachel Chapman.
