By Staff | Nov 10, 2016

A Holiday Candy Workshop will be hosted by Palo Alto County Extension and Outreach on Monday, Nov. 28. There will be two sessions: one session from 1 to 4 p.m. and another session from 5 to 8 p.m.

Participants at each session will be making the same candies and cookies. Holiday bakers will make 12 different candies and cookies. Each participant will go home with a container full of holiday goodies. All candies can be frozen until needed.

Six different stations will be set up at the Extension Center. Participants will make two different candies at each station.

The stations include fudge, cookies, caramels, dipped candies, no bake candies and turtles.

At the end of the workshop everyone will receive a container to fill with all their homemade candies.

The cost of the workshop covers the expenses to make the candies.

Get a group of friends together and enjoy a fun time making holiday goodies. Each session is limited to 24 people.

The best part of the workshop? Walk in and start making the candies and leave the set-up, shopping and clean up to Palo Alto Extension.
