Emmetsburg Blood Drive September 7

SIOUX CITY As school gets back in session and summer comes to an end, LifeServe Blood Center is urging eligible students and other blood donors to get back in the swing of donating blood.

More than 3,000 units of blood are needed each week in order for LifeServe Blood Center to meet the needs of its more than 120 hospital partners in Iowa, Nebraska and South Dakota.

Emmetsburg Community Blood Drive, Wednesday, Sept. 7, from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the VFW Hall, 3205 Main Street.
