Dwight and Bev Rutter Environmental Scholarship

By Staff | Aug 16, 2016

The Dwight and Bev Rutter Scholarship was established in 2015 for one student in each of two targeted programs. Qualifying programs are Environmental Studies and Water Quality & Sustainable Aquatic Resources. Dwight and Bev have been involved with environmental issues for many years and would like to help students with the same concerns for the environment and water supply. Each student selected will receive a $500 scholarship to be used for tuition and books. Awards are made to students completing the scholarship application and planning to enroll as a full-time student at Iowa Lakes Community College. Preference will be given to residents of Clay or Dickinson Counties.

The 2016-17 recipients are Jackson Swanson of Hartley and Brady Flint of Ruthven.
