Palo Alto County Students Earn Degrees At Briar Cliff University

SIOUX CITY – Briar Cliff University hosted a baccalaureate liturgy and commencement ceremony to honor the University’s 2016 candidates for undergraduate and graduate degrees.

Briar Cliff’s baccalaureate Mass was Friday, May 20, at the Cathedral of the Epiphany in Sioux City.

BCU’s 85th commencement ceremony was held Saturday, May 21, at the Orpheum Theatre in Sioux City.

At the commencement ceremony, President Beverly A. Wharton conferred degrees to 291 candidates.

The 2016 graduates includes Palo Alto County students:

Martin Joseph Bergstrom, Mallard, candidate for Master of Arts in Management Degree

Gabriel Chris Olson, Emmetsburog, candidate for Bachelor of Science Degree

Alesha Marie Sikora, Ruthven, candidate for Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree
