Taylor is a talented vocalist and absolutely loves performing! Through the Miss America Organization, Taylor has the opportunity to not only perform but also share her passions with others. The program also provides financial support for her education.
Taylor credits a solid family foundation for shaping her into the young woman she has become, giving her the knowledge and assurance needed to teach her younger siblings that with confidence and determination anything is possible. With the support of her family and friends, she knows her dreams and goals will forever be met.
As Miss Iowa, Taylor spends her time traveling the state of Iowa visiting schools and businesses, performing at events and promoting the Miss Iowa Scholarship Program, Children’s Miracle Network, and her personal platform, The St Baldrick’s Foundation: SHAVE, SERVE, SHARE. Through her platform, Taylor has raised thousands of dollars for childhood cancer research, even shaving her head at age 17 to raise funds for the cause. As Miss Iowa, she has the opportunity to become involved with childhood cancer organizations on a grand scale as well as reach out to children and families on a personal level.
