It was a busy Summer for Morgan Miller, the four-year-old daughter of Doug and Alli Miller of West Bend. Young Morgan spent her time competing in pedal tractor pulls around the area, and earned First Place in the four-year-old class during the 26th Annual Iowa State Pedal Pull Championship. The state pull was conducted on Saturday, September 12 at the Coliseum on Marshalltown, IA. This event, which was hosted by the Marshalltown Noon Optimists Club, had over 9,000 participants from over 200 sanctioned pedal pulls across Iowa.

As a result of her first place finish, Morgan earned the right to advance to the National Pedal Pull on Saturday, September 26 at the Corn Palace in Mitchell, SD.

Competing in the National meet, Morgan would end up earning the Second Place finish in her four year old class. Morgan came up with a pull of 39 feet 11 inches (a full pull is 40 feet) against 16 others in her age group to finish second.
