Horizons Hosts 3rd Annual UnWined Wine Tasting on September 13

The public is invited to unwind and treat their taste buds at the 3rd annual UnWined wine tasting celebration this Sunday, Sept. 13. This year’s event will be held in the ballroom of the scenic, new Shores At Five Island center at 14 N. Lawler St. in Emmetsburg from 3 to 6 p,m.

Enjoy the diverse and delicious wines of Algona’s Train Wreck Winery, Estherville’s Little Swan Lake Winery, St. Charles’s Madison County Winery, and Indianola’s La Vida Loca Winery. Tasty hors d’oeuvres and relaxing live musical entertainment, with a picturesque view on the shore of Five Island Lake, will make the event the perfect way to start off your autumn.

“UnWined is hosted by Horizons Unlimited, and all the proceeds from ticket sales will benefit the individuals with disabilities whom our organization serves,” says Josiah Schmidt, Horizons Unlimited’s Development Coordinator, “UnWined has been phenomenally successful in raising charitable dollars. The event has grown in popularity to become one of the must-attend functions in Palo Alto County.”
