United In Marriage
Chelsea Marie Banwart of Ottosen and Jordan Patrick Laubenthal of West Bend were united in marriage on Saturday, September 15, 2012 at 2 p.m. Chelsea is the daughter of Craig and Tina Banwart of Ottosen and Jordan is the son of Keith and Connie Laubenthal of West Bend.
Father Tom Hart performed the marriage ceremony at Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in West Bend. Chelsea was escorted down the aisle by her father, Craig Banwart.
Soloists John Banwart and Lance and Christy Banwart and organist Luan Montag performed at the ceremony.
Chelsea’s sister, Mackenzie Banwart, of Iowa City served as Maid of Honor, while Courtney Ruppert of Curlew, Kayla Vanderhorst of Oakland, Janelle Stevens of Billings, MT, and Brittany Laubenthal of West Bend were bridesmaids.
Craig’s cousin, Anthony Laubenthal, of Norwalk served as Best Man, while Brad Ruppert of Curlew, Adam Laubenthal of Bradgate, Derek Wirtz of West Bend, and Cole Banwart of Ottosen were groomsmen.
Amanda and Casey Spraw of Las Vegas, NV, Dan Traub of West Bend and Ben Ulrich of Sioux City were ushers. Emma Schumacher was the flower girl.
Special guests included grandparents Lannie and Charlene Miller, Marilyn Banwart, Maxine Laubenthal and Lawrence and Marilyn Nelson.
A reception and dance was held following the ceremony at Knights of Columbus Hall in Algona.
The happy couple now resides in West Bend. Both are 2007 graduates of West Bend-Mallard High School. Chelsea is also a 2011 University of Northern Iowa graduate. Jordan is employed by West Bend International and Chelsea is employed by Banwart Trucking.
