Mark and Kelly (Gappa) Klaus of Urbandale, are the parents of a daughter, Finnley Kay Klaus, born on January 5, 2012 at Mercy Hospital in Des Moines. Finnley weighed 7 pounds, 10 ounces and was 19 and 1/2 inches long.

Grandparents are Todd and Lisa Gappa of Emmetsburg, and Jack and Shirley Klaus of Manchester. Great-grandparents are Mary Gappa and Cliff and Nancy Hinrichs, all of Emmetsburg.
